Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull, who performs under the name Posie Parker, is a transphobic, anti-feminist and far-right political campaigner. She rose to notoriety in 2018 after being questioned by the police in relation to Twitter harassment of Susie Green (CEO of Mermaids) and her daughter. In the tweets, she misgendered Green’s daughter and made reference to “castration”.

Pose Parker perpetuates transphobic sentiment via her YouTube channel and various podcast appearances. She seeks to build a following by selling fear to the fearful, focusing on the ‘moral panic’ over trans rights, then presenting herself as the person who can save her supporters from this imaginary threat.

She and her associates were also behind the infamous ‘woman: adult human female’ slogan, which she plastered on billboards, stickers and other merch to the delight of transphobes everywhere. Companies supplying her have since attempted to distance themselves from her hate speech.

HOPE not hate singled out Parker in their 2023 ‘State of Hate’ report for her role in the alignment of transphobic forces with those of the traditional fascistic right. Parker represents the nexus by which far right conservatives and transphobes are increasingly coming together in their activity. It is crucial that antifascists and trans liberation activists mobilize to break this developing unity.

In early September 2023 an image of a rainbow boot appeared on social media; beneath the boot the word ‘women’ is crumbling. There was immediate rage from anti-trans campaigners, only for them to discover that the sticker came from the KJK online store. What had started as an anti-trans campaign had widened into a campaign against the entire LGBT+ community.
